Well, this has been my technology learning week and it hasn’t ended yet. Thanks to Holly Knott I’ve wended my way through updating my website and the process of learning the content management system. Now I’ll be able to update the website as new work is completed or something is sold (yippee!) and I’ll be able to blog occasionally.
For my birthday I got an iPad and what fun that’s been to learn! I still have a long way to go with it, but I’ve been playing with it a bit each day. Fortunately, we have an Apple store nearby and I can take advantage of their FREE classes which I intend to do. My granddaughters had great fun with it and told their my husband that their grammy was very cool! How great is that to hear from your grandkids!
Other thing that’s kept me really busy is finishing up some inventory for the Maine Crafts Association gallery and store which will be at the Maine Mall. I was juried in to this store earlier this spring and had to deliver items this week for their grand opening this coming weekend. I hope this will be a successful venture. Their store in Gardiner, Maine at the 295/95 service plaza is lovely and has been a great success.
A quick shot of my studio. Gives you an idea of what a state it’s in! I’ve had several different projects going at once. It is nice to be able to keep them all in one spot and work on them when I feel like it.
Quote for the day – We’ve had a lot of rain the past 10 days so this quote seemed just right:
“May the fringe be the falling rain. May the borders be the standing rainbow.”
