NFS – demonstration for hand applique
When I saw this quilt in Dimensional Appliqué by Elly Sienkiewicz, I knew I had to make it. There were no patterns — I drafted each 16” block from the picture and made a few changes – placing a book (I love to read) rather than the cross in the second row and making the quilt from cotton fabrics rather than silks and satins. This quilt was started in 1994 and completed in 2005! Juried into A Quilters Gathering in 2006.
