An original design of curved blocks emulates the curves of the body. A range of fabrics represents the various hues and shades of peoples of the world. What emerged when the blocks were pieced were intertwined circles, which is what we hope for our world some day. Starting from the center, the quilted face profiles ultimately end in gentle curves at the edges. Mirror in the center allows viewers to place themselves in the quilt. This won first place at Maine Quilts 05 and Third Place at the Boothbay Harbor Quilt Festival ’04. Juried into Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival and Quilters Heritage in 2006.
